To commemorate world Earth Day on April 22, 2016, Koran Sindo held a “No Plastic Bag” capaign. This campaign held on April 24, 2016, in Car Free Day zone in Sudirman Thamrin Street in order to raise awareness of the society to reduce the usage of plastic bag.
“No Plastic Bag” campaign event was
attended by RI Irman Gusman (DPD), Roy Mande (Head of Aprindo), R.
Sudirman (KLHK Director), Sururi Alfarauq (Koran Sindo Director), and
Samuel Pranata (Corporate Communication & CSR Manager of Martha
Tilaar Group). On this occasion,Martha Tilaar Group gave 5000 free tote
bag to people who came to Car Free Day event as its support to this
campaign. Through this support, Martha Tilaar Group hope that people
will give more concern to bad impact of plastic bag and start to reduce
it for healt, neat, and beautiful Indonesia.
