As Environmental Responsibility, PT Martina Berto Tbk Implements Wast Management

As one of Business Sustainable Forum’s speakers in day two of Indonesia Global Compact Networks  (IGCN) 2017 (19/10), President Director of PT Martina Tilaar Tbk, Bryan Tilaar, talk about PT Martina Berto Tbk waste management. This waste management is one of company form of responsibility to the society and environment and an important aspects that become company’s concern.

PT Martina Berto Tbk implements Zero Waste Society-based waste management. Zero Waste Sociery is a waste management that started from production to the end of its process in order to minimalize trash, which controlled and evaluated with aim to recognize 3R consept (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle). “PT Martina Berto Tbk provides barrels to make compost from organic waste in factory and office area. This compost will utilized to fertilize plants around our office,” he says.

Not only concern about solid waste management, PT Martiba Berto Tbk also proceed liquid waste with integrated management. The result of liquid waste processing that considered safe to disposed, will be utilizing to watering plants. With this management, PT Martina Berto Tbk hope could give real contribution to environment and minimalizing soil, water, and air pollution.
