Indonesia Brand Forum (IBF) 2016 was held at Grand Hyatt, Central Jakarta on August 24, 2016. During the event which highlighted "Branding Family Business for the Nation: Sustainable in Every Generation" as the main theme, Martha Tilaar Group successfully obtained the Indonesia Family Business Award for the category of "Building Family Reputation".
The award was received by Vice Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group, Wulan Tilaar. "The 2nd Generation Challenges" book was officially launched during IBF 2016 by President Director of PT Martina Berto, Tbk., Bryan Tilaar, and Director of Corp. CSR, Communication, System & Procedure of Martha Tilaar Group, Samuel Pranata.
Bryan Tilaar and Samuel Pranata declared their support for collaboration among family corporations in Indonesia, as proposed by IBF, as an effort to counter the global market competition. To establish a solid cooperation among family corporations should be our long-term goal to maintain the sustainability of local brands in global market.
