National Technology Awakening Day (HARTEKNAS) 2016 that held in Manahan Stadion, Solo, Cental Java, has been held well. With “Innovation for Indepencence and Nations Competitiveness” as its theme, HARTEKNAS 2016 begin from Innovation with Better, Cheaper, and Faster principle without forgeting the uniqueness and quality of natural resources which developed with the touch of science and technology. The peak of HARTEKNAS that celebrated on August 10, 2016, was attended by some of Indonesia figures, BJ Habibie, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Mohamad Nasir, Minister of Human Development and Cultural Affairs Puan Maharani, Minister of Home Affairs Cahyo Kumolo, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Vice Governor of Central Java, Major of Solo, Regional Head and Rector from Universities in Indonesia.
In this event, also held Abyudaya Award 2016 as appreciation for industrial sector that take an active role in producing and utilizing the result of national development and research into inovative products. The award is recognised as the highest award for inovator, from academic , institution, government or non-government, and private industry. For the achievement in innovative product development, PT Martina Berto, Tbk is chosen as the only one private industry who get rge Abyudaya Award 2016.
This award is given to PT Martina Berto, Tbk because the company is considered as innovation setter on its every cosmetic product by exploring Indonesia local wisdom, developing, cultivating and researching how Aromatic, Cosmetic and Medicinal Plants (TOKA), fruits, flowers through Kampoeng Djamoe Organic (KaDO) Martha Tilaar in Cikarang. Abyudaya Award 2016 handed over by Mohamad Nasir to Kilala Tilaar as the Corporate Director of Creative and Innovation of PT Martina Berto, Tbk, for the innovation of Langsat and Hibiscus as main formula on one of Sariayu skin care variants, Sariayu Putih Langsat.
