Last Wednesday to Saturday, October 22-25, 2014, LPPOM MUI held the fourth halal products exhibition, Indonesia Halal Expo 2014 (INDHEX 2014). This exhibition that held in Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, followed by dozens of technology, food, beverage, to cosmetic companies. And as one of trusted cosmetic companies in Indonesian market, Martha Tilaar Group through its three brands involved in INDHEX 2014 as one of the exhibitors. Those brands are Sariayu, Caring Colours, and Mirabella Cosmetics that already received halal certification from LPPOM MUI.
The process to get this halal certification is not easy and takes quite long time. Not only by seeing the consistency of main ingredients quality usage in the cosmetic making process, but also how the cosmetic are made and its distribution process also become the considerations for LPPOM MUI before they eventually give halal certification to a product.
