Therefore, Martha Tilaar Innovation Center (MTIC) and Ministry of Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia presents RISTEK-MTIC Award 2012 themed Natural Ingredients Research-Based on Environmentally Friendly Concept For Beauty and Health. RISTEK-MTIC Award 2012 is a prestigious award of appreciation for researches and writings on utilizing Indonesia's natural resources. The award was given in 3 categories: Researchers, Public and Journalist.
The Awarding Ceremony
Papers on research and writings were submitted for direct assessment from competent figures in their respective fields, they are experts from Martha Tilaar Group, University of Indonesia, Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, and the Ministry of Research and Technology which is represented by staff Expert Health and Medicine Prof. Dr. Ir. Amin Soebandrio.
Researchers category First Prize Rp.50.000.000,- won by Enos Tangke Arung Ph.D from the University of East Kalimantan. Public category First Prize Rp.5.000.000,- won by Dwi Nugraheni Wiayantani of Jakarta. Special award for the category of Journalists achieved by Afrizal from Tribun Pekanbaru daily newspaper. He is entitled for Rp.5.000.000,-.
The awarding ceremony itself was held at the peak celebration of the Day of National Technology Resurrection (HAKTEKNAS) in Sabuga, Bandung, West Java (11/08). With each award for the winners presented by Dr. Martha Tilaar (Founder & Chairwoman of Martha Tilaar Group) herself.
