Martha Tilaar Group Clean Gajah Wong River Embankment with Regional Community

As a form of our commitment to environmental preservation and relating to the "CEO Water Mandate", Martha Tilaar Group CSR team successfully launched a program to clean water and provide healthy water supply in Gajah Wong river, at Depok District - Sleman, Yogyakarta on Sunday, July 15, 2012.

Themed Grebeg Air Gajah Wong, the launching ceremony was attended by Dr. Martha Tilaar (Founder and Chairwoman Martha Tilaar Group), District Head Level 2 Sleman, Yogyakarta, Head Depok Sleman regency, Chief of Chess Single, Depok Sleman, a representative of the sponsor program, residents in hamlets Papringan, Ambarukmo, Gowok, and the settlers on the banks Gajah Wong river and local media colleagues who participated cover the event.



To ensure it's continuity, our CSR team also held training of trainers (ToT), followed by students, activists, nature lovers and community leaders around Gajah Wong on 16 to 20 July 2012.
