This week (10/6), in order to increase the potential for down streaming
of innovative products in the herbal & cosmetic sector, PT Martina
Berto Tbk and its partners attended the invitation of Universitas Gadjah
Mada Yogyakarta. To accompany the President Director of PT Martina
Berto Tbk, Bryan Tilaar, CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, Dr. Kilala Tilaar,
was also attend the MoU Signing & Business Matching Forum at the
Innovation & Creativity Center, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT Martina Berto Tbk and
Universitas Gadjah Mada is including collaboration in the fields of
education, research, and community service, as a form of synergy between
the industrial world and higher education institutions. The signing was
done by Bryan Tilaar as the President Director of PT Martina Berto Tbk
and Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., SpOG(K), Ph.D. as the Rector of
Universitas Gadjah Mada, and witnessed by dr. Kilala Tilaar. Through the
signing of this MoU, PT Martina Berto Tbk hopes to encourage the
creation of innovative products, especially in the field of herbal &
cosmetics.
In addition to signing the Memorandum of
Understanding, Martha Tilaar Group also held a Business Matching Forum
with universities. Not only with UGM, but the following day (11/6)
Martha Tilaar Group also met with ATMA Jaya University Yogyakarta. In
this meeting, both parties also explored the potential for collaboration
that could increase synergy in the beauty business world with
Indonesian education, one of which is through the Martha Tilaar Goes to
Campus program.
