Tilaar talk about How to Built an Unapologetically Female Brand with
Lizzie Parra as the moderator. In that session, she shared how Dr.
(H.C.) Martha Tilaar started Martha Tilaar Group’s journey, from the
beginning until its 50th years of existence. According to her, it’s not
an easy process to hit 50 years, a lot of trials and error, raise and
falls, the company should overcome. “Therefore, up until now Martha
Tilaar Group continuing to create innovations and contributing to
Indonesia. One of the ways, we joined the Intercolor to set world color
trend. For now, Martha Tilaar is the only cosmetics Indonesia company
that teamed up with the Intercolor,” said Wulan.
Through this
opportunity, Wulan also gave some tips for the young generation who
wants to start a business. “To be a DJITU person is the key. Discipline
(Disiplin), Honest (Jujur), Faithfull (Iman)/Innovative (Inovatif),
Diligent (Tekun), Resilient (Ulet), if we set the attitude, we sure will
gain the trust from the customers. Don’t give up and be strong when
facing the challenges. When you feel stuck, try to find alternative and
other innovations,” she continued.
