Last November, Martha Tilaar Group supported Santri
Talent Camp 2019 event that held by NU boarding school (27-29/11). The
event was followed by 137 students as the result of its selection from
NU around Indonesia, and it was also attended by Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar
who gave inspiring sharing session for the students.
At this
motivational sharing session, Dr. Martha shared about her long journey
to establish her company which started from family garage. From a small
salon, she started to develop her own Indonesia cosmetic brands. “This
woman from Gombong eventually made her big dream came true because of
family support and hard working,” said the Founder of Martha Tilaar
Group herself. “What most important things for me, an embodiment of our
big dreams needs a strong willing and consistent small acts. In
conclusion, when we already have strong determination, we need to set
big dream to specify small steps we need,” she continued.
NU sent
its students to attend this motivational session with Dr. Martha for
some reasons. According to Imam Pitududari NU, collaboration era is one
the reasons. “NU wants to build a collaboration with Martha Tilaar
Group, not only for training matter, but also to built strategic
collaborations that will potentially add 5 silat, which are
silaturrahim, silatulilmi (knowledge transfer), silatulamal (joint
action), silatulmal (sharing), dan silatilruh (pray for each other),”
said Imam. In general, Santri Talent Camp 2019 agendas filled with
Inspiration Session, Beauty & Grooming Class, Healthy Drink Demo
from Kampoeng Djamoe, and visitation to Martha Tilaar Learning Center at
Megamendung, Bogor.
