Wednesday, October 30, 2019, Martha Tilaar Group's family mourn for Prof. H.A.R Tilaar lost, a beloved husband of Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar, the Founder of Martha Tilaar Group. Known as Alex, his existence can never be separated from the name of Martha Tilaar Group. He is one of the most important persons in Dr. Martha’s life. He always on Dr. Martha's side to accompany her on some special occasions. Or even he is not, Prof. Alex always there to support his beloved wife.

“I’m a turis. Turut istri – following (my) wife. Where ever Martha goes, I’ll go with her,” that’s what he often said at some occasions. His sweet attitude and words to Dr. Martha will make everyone who sees it will feel touched. Not just his attitude towards his wife, Prof. Alex also known as a friendly person to Martha Tilaar Group's family. He was a man who loves to bring pocket camera to lowkey take pictures of Dr. Martha and always smile to everyone who greets him.

Prof. Alex died at the age of 87. Not just leaving his beloved family, but also good memories that will be remembered by Martha Tilaar Group's big family. Goodbye Prof. Alex. Rest in peace.
