2019 must be a challenging year to Jember Fashion
Carnaval team for their President Dynand Fariz passed away on April
17th. However, the show must go on. Even though left by Dynand but the
spirit of JFC still sparks. Replacing Dynand’s role, Intan Ayundavira
whom niece of the late was chosen to be JFC Event Director.

2019 with Tribal Grandeur theme was held during 4 days from August
1st-4th 2019 at Alun-alun Jember, and to reminice Dynand JFC 2019 held a
“Tribute to the Maestro”. Sariayu, as local cosmetic brand that started
to support and involve in this festival since the very beginning, also
gave appreciation to him by following the grand parade. Joined Dynand’s
family, some of Sariayu and Martha Tilaar representations walk through
JFC 2019 runway wearing costume by designer Eko Purwanto.

2019 Tribal Grandeur inspired by various tribes in the world. The
defiles that presented in 3,6 km runway represents Aztec (Mexico), Hudoq
(Eask Borneo), Minahasa (North Sulawesi), Mongol (Mongolia), Viking
(Noway), Karen (Thailand), Zulu (South Africa), and Polynesia. Just like
previous years, all models were beautified with makeup from Sariayu
Color Trend from Martha Tilaar.
