Last week (17-20/03) during four days, Kilala Tilaar, the Corporate Director of Creative and Innovation Martha Tilaar Group, visited Bologna, Italy, to attend Cosmoprof Worldwide. Cosmoprof is a beauty exhibition that is organized as collaboration of Cosmetica Italy –The Personal Care Association, Italian Ministry of Economic Development and ITA –Italian Trade Agency. Since its first year in 1967, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has establihed as mediator between beauty companies and new markets, and also as an event that it is recognized worldwide as the not-to-be-missed event for companies, professionals and distributors of the sector.
In this 50th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide, more than 250.000 visitors from 150 countries are coming to attend this beauty exhibition, from Australia, Belgia, Korea, Germany, Indonesia, China, Netherland, United States, Japan, etc. Kilala didn’t come to Bologna to see the development of beauty industry trend in the world by himself but also with Dr.(H.C) Martha Tilaar and Pingkan Tilaar, Director of Puspita Martha International Beauty School.
One of the agendas in Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2017 is CosmoTalks (16/03), a seminar that presents some insights about retail industry and beauty market. In CosmoTalks, Kilala also became one of the speakers. He talks about “Multicultural Beauty- How Brands are Tapping Into This Strategic Sector”.
