On Wednesday, August 3, 2016, Martha Tilaar Group got a courtesy call from Indonesia Embassy for Algeria Safira Machrusah. Her visitation with Algeria Embassy for Indonesia staff Laib Rachid and Director of PT JIEP, Sita, was warmly welcomed bt the director of PT Martina Berto, Tbk, Bryan Tilaar, Kilala Tilaar, Handiwidjaja, and Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar.
On this short visitation, Safira Machrusah gave some insighs about some potential collaborations that can be created between Martha Tilaar Group and Indonesia goverment, a collaboration which hoped will give profit for both countries, Indonesia and Algeria. According to her, Martha Tilaar Group brands has potential to expand their market in Algeria, it’s related to the fact that the majority of Algeria are moslems.
In this case, the idea of market expansion is appreciated by Dr. Martha Tilaar because Martha Tilaar Group products, especially Sariayu is already get Grade A Halal sertification from MUI for all its variants, from Sariayu Hijab Hair Care, decorative, to skin care. “ For product development, we could adjust the formulation based on government regulation and climate in related country,” says Kilala Tilaar on that opportunity. Hopefully the collaboration will be running soon and bring advantages for the development of Indonesia cosmetic.
