Laskar Jamu Gendong Indonesia Association is Officially Established

DR. Martha Tilaar’s love to Indonesia herb ingredients and beauty has brought her to successful in building one of largest local cosmetic companies in Indonesia. Her love also becomes the foundation of her concern to the progress of herb world in Indonesia. And by this concern, DR. Martha Tilaar with related parties establishes an association for herb seller in Indonesia.

Took place at her house, last Monday, April 6, 2015, DR. Martha Tilaar invites some of the herbal sellers, representative of government institutions, notaries and representative of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah to signing the assembly establishment certificate of Laskar Jamu Gendong Indonesia. The aim of this association is as a place where all the members will get training and guidance to increase their skill and their herbal business, and not to forget as a place to share information and knowledge about herbal.

“I want to collaborate with all parties, from herbal sellers and Taman Mini Indonesia who always give support to herbal activity in Indonesia, to together advance herbal sector in Indonesia,” said DR. Martha Tilaar. She also said, herbal need to be preserved because it is a cultural heritage that becomes the identity of Indonesia.

Not onli signed by DR. Martha Tilaar, the assembly establishment certificate of Laskar Jamu Gendong Indonesia also signed bt Nuning S. Barwa and Heru D. Wardhana as the CSR team of Martha Tilaar Group, and also the representative of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah and herbal sellers, Kasijem Sudarsih, Laksmi and Desy Widayanti. Beside signing session, this event also filled with the recitation of Laskar Jamu Gendong Declaration.
