The History
In 1977, PT Matina Berto stands as a home industry with product branded Sariayu. In 1981, the company established the first modern factory on Pulo Ayan, Pulogadung Industrial Estate. In 1986, the second factory was established on Pulo Kambing, Pulogadung Industrial Estate.
In 1993, the company acquired cosmetics factory PT Cedefindo as contract manufacturing for internal & external. In 1995, PT Martina Berto III was established in Gunung Putri, Bogor. In 1996 PT Martina Berto became the first cosmetics factory in Indonesia to obtained ISO 9001 certification.In 2000, the company became the only founder of the UN Global Compact from Asia, also get the certificate of ISO 14001 and GMP certificate: CPKB (Cara Produksi Kosmetika yang Baik) and CPOTB (Cara Produksi Obat Tradisional yang Baik). In 2008, it was awarded the "Most Admired Enterprise in ASEAN" category 'Inovation' from the Asean Bussiness Forum.
