As one of tourism destinations of Gombong, Kebumen,
Roemah Martha Tilaar is always offering interesting stories and ambience
to its visitors. In the other hand, as part of Gombong society, Roemah
Martha Tilaar also functioned as creative space for local community.
With so many programs and activities, Roemah Martha Tilaar necessarily
held a public presentation to report its progression and results to the
shareholders and communities during these past five years (23/07).
“All this time, as we run this place, we realized that we are not only giving but also taking some resources from the society, therefore we felt that this public presentation is need to be opened to the public,” said Reza Adhiatma, Executive Director of Roemah Martha Tilaar. On this presentation, he mentioned that Roemah Marth Tilaar records around 500 visitors every month, devided into public visitors and students. Some things like Gombong’s culture and foods are interesting to them, and from these kind of things, he hopes that Roemah Martha Tilaar Group will give contributions to Gombong and Kebumen tourism by giving them informations about the regions.
This presentation also held as discussion forum between Roemah Martha Tilaar that lead by Wulan Tilaar and some communities in Gombong such as literature community, SME, academics, culture, and youth organization. Discussion between both sides is expected to improve Roemah Martha Tilaar’s role and contributions to the society in Gombong.
